We built FoxxDen so your money stays your business. Here’s exactly what the app does, and doesn’t do, with your information.
Your budget stays on your iPhone
Everything you type in, from your accounts and regular payments to your balances, savings, debts and goals, is stored only on your iPhone. We don’t have servers holding your data, so we can’t see it. It’s included in your normal iPhone backups to your own iCloud or computer, which you and Apple look after.
Bank statements
If you import a statement (a PDF, photo or screenshot), your iPhone reads it there and then. The statement itself is never uploaded or saved. All FoxxDen keeps, on your phone, is the regular payments you choose to add, the categories you pick and your monthly spending totals for each category.
Apple Intelligence
On iPhones that support it, FoxxDen uses Apple Intelligence to understand the questions you type and to suggest spending categories. This all happens on your iPhone. FoxxDen doesn’t use Apple’s cloud model and never sends your questions anywhere.
Prices and exchange rates
If you hold dollars or crypto, the app fetches the daily pound-to-dollar rate (from the European Central Bank, via frankfurter.dev) and prices for a handful of coins (from CoinGecko) so it can value them. These requests don’t include any personal or financial information. As with visiting any website, those services can see your device’s IP address when the request is made.
Purchases
FoxxDen Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, so we never see your card details. The app checks with Apple, from your phone, whether you have Pro.
No tracking, analytics or adverts
There are no adverts, no third-party analytics and no tracking in FoxxDen. We don’t collect, sell or share your personal data.
